Children and Younger Persons Services
Paul Edwards is the young persons’ advocate and works with young people up to the age of 18 with a range of emotional and mental health needs to enable them to have a choice, and to be heard in decisions which affect their lives.
Paul works in a variety of settings including residential care, hospitals and schools, and visits children wherever necessary, whether at home, at school, in a café or a local youth club.
Referrals are received from a wide range of sources, with the permission of the client, and from young people themselves, and the service deals with a broad array of issues from the client’s perspective.
